I just had a great conversation with one of my clients. We were talking about how to let those annoying thoughts go. I gave her all my analogies like the snow globe settles once you stop shaking it up and how the clouds float by and the sun is always there but what came clear to both of us that real freedom is in the moment. That's why techniques, even ignoring thoughts don’t work because they put energy into the letting go. Someone once told me that if I want to be in the moment then I should look down at my feet, see where I am and that's where my thinking should be. In the moment, in this moment we are safe.
